LEARN HOW TO GRAPPLE

LEARN FROM A TOP LEVEL BLACK BELT

TRAIN IN THE GI

Pablo Castro is our black belt head coach at Strong Style. His accomplishments range from a successful collegiate wrestling career to jiu jitsu world championships. Through his instruction, you will learn how to effectively control and submit opponents. Training in the gi is a great way to learn the fundamentals that will carry on into the highest levels of the sport.

Train Without The Uniform

No-Gi Jiu Jitsu

No-Gi jiu jitsu is exactly what it sounds like, training without the gi. Instead you wear shorts and a rashguard (compression shirt). No-Gi tends to be a faster pace, however control and technique are just as important. Learn takedowns, positions, and submissions that focus on control.

No Gi Jiu Jitsu

Catch-as-catch-can

Catch Wrestling

Catch Wrestling holds a lot of similarities with No-Gi, however one of the most notable differences is the ability to be pinned. This puts a higher emphasis on takedowns and less on fighting off of your back. Ground fighting techniques in this sport offer a different but familiar look on how to submit and dominate your opponent.
